Delete your News Butler account

How to have your account and everything tied to it deleted.

How to ask

1. If someone else runs your News Butler server, ask that person, the admin. They remove you on the server's Users page.
2. If you use Purple Panther's own server, send a message from the Contact page with the email address you sign in with, and choose "Delete my News Butler account". You will get a reply when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address and password.
• Your sign-ins: any browser or phone still signed in is signed out.
• Your categories, feeds, interests, blocked sites and settings.
• Your articles, read and saved marks, Like, Less and topic votes.
• Your Share places and the record of what you shared.

Copies in the server's backups go when those backups are replaced.

On your phone

Uninstall the News Butler app to remove what it keeps on the phone.
